Fusion is established on the foundation of Client Advisory Consulting. A typical engagement begins with delivery of a concise, cost-effective Program Assessment that defines current, planned and desired states for each element of risk being assessed, and prescribes a fiscally responsible mitigation plan for those elements. As a next step, Fusion provides Gap Remediation Services to bridge defined gaps between the current and desired states to achieve risk management goals. For clients who desire continuous monitoring and improvement of their risk management profile, Fusion provides on-going Program Management Services that are designed to keep clients prepared and informed and to support ongoing Compliance and Audit requirements.

This progressive series of advisory consulting services has proved effective in meeting client expectations.

Program Assessments
Program Assessments leverage the Fusion Framework™ Methodology and Software to provide a clear definition of the current state of risk management elements precisely defined using a maturity model embedded in commonly used maturity frameworks. A "Planned State" is defined that reflects program objectives over a planning horizon typically 6 to 18 months in duration. A "Desired State" is also defined reflecting the program's long-term goals, but not necessarily immediately achievable. From that base, critical gaps can be defined and remedial actions necessary to bridge those gaps are identified. With crisp definition of activities, organized in a SQL Database, and aligned with business priorities and impact, Program Assessments ensure that a client's focus is always on the next most important investment and activity in its Risk Management Program.

Gap Remediation Services
Gap Remediation Services cover the full spectrum of program improvement from strategy and roadmap development through execution. Depending on the results of the Program Assessment, Fusion may design and build a program from the ground up, or merely propose specific updates and refinements for an existing program. Services range from policy development to detailed planning to project management. Fusion consultants and partners have the expertise and experience to assist clients in closing program gaps quickly and efficiently. Additionally, Fusion provides services to help build effective testing and validation programs that ensure the gaps that are closed remain that way.

Program Management Services
Program Management Services are provided in conjunction with the Fusion Framework™ Program Manager Software. These services range from developing and implementing a management paradigm, to fully staffing and running a client's IT Risk Management Program on a continuing basis. Fusion is focused on building and managing programs that provide business value by reducing the cost of traditional approaches, and improving effectiveness by leveraging proven tactics and strategies.
